The show ran for 5 seasons, from 1961 to 1966, with 158 episodes. And it won 15 Emmy Awards. In 2002, the series was ranked at number 13 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time. Last year, 2021, marked the 60th anniversary of this legendary show, as well as Dick van Dyke’s 96th birthday.
Our guest can easily be considered He’s the editor and publisher of “The Walnut Times”, the Dick Van Dyke Show newsletter, which he published for 20 years. He recently completed a fully authorized, feature length documentary entitled, “The Dick Van Dyke Show: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary”.
