Our very special guest, Anna Olson, is an internationally renowned, multi-award winning pastry chef, television star, educator and author whose name has become synonymous with culinary perfection, both in the sweet AND savory departments.
She became a household name on the Food Network, where she hosted her hugely successful TV shows, “Sugar”, “Kitchen Equipped”, “Fresh with Anna Olson”, which won a Grand Remi Award for Best Lifestyle Programming, “Bake with Anna Olson”, “Inspired with Anna Olson”, and the online series, “Sweet Something”. Her TV shows have aired in over 190 countries. And of course, we all know her as one of the judges on “The Great Chocolate Showdown” and “The Junior Chef Showdown”.
Her incredibly popular YouTube channel, has over 1.4 MILLION subscribers. She’s written 11 bestselling cookbooks, including “Sugar”, “Bake with Anna Olson”, “Back to Baking”, “Set For the Holidays”, “Baking Day”, which won a Gold Medal at the Taste Canada Cookbook Awards, and my personal favourite, “In the Kitchen with Anna: New Ways With The Classics”. She’s also co-authored 2 wonderful books with her husband, Chef Michael Olson, entitled “Inn on the Twenty Cookbook” and another one of my all-time favourites, “Anna and Michael Olson Cook at Home”.
